Faslane Peace Camp
30 years of continuous protest against Nuclear weapons outside the home to Britains nuclear deterrent. A visit offers an opportunity to hear and understand the nuclear arguments from people who care
Founded on 12 June 1982 the camp is a well established caravan site to the south of the base. It is continuously occupied and strives to both disrupt the base and also keep the issue of nuclear weapons in the forefront of consciousness.
It might not seem a place for a tourist visit, but for visitors to Scotland who feel strongly about these issues, this is an excellent opportunity to show your support.
