Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with stunning views of the iconic Buchaille Etive Mhor. The Glencoe Ski Centre is just over a mile from the Kingshouse Hotel, on the other side of the A82, on Meall A'Bhuiridh (3,636 ft). This is Scotland's oldest ski centre, established in 1956, and remains one of the best, with the longest single descent. At the base station is the Museum of Scottish Skiing and Climbing where you can see the ice axe used by Chris Bonnington, among other things.
