Customer Reviews of Seascape, Fiskavaig, Isle of Skye - Sleeps 8
st comment: A very high standard of accommodation and the views were to die for. We watched a pod of about 50 dolphins play in the bay for three hours one evening - magical. The layout suited our family - the downstairs bedroom and bathroom was ideal for Grannie and granpa, while upstairs had oodles of room for the family. The kids loved having a TV in their room for when a little quiet time was required. The equipment in the house was all you could need. The owners were exceptionally friendly to deal with and the wine / chocolates on arrival were just right after a long drive. You do need a car here, but that goes for most places on Skye, and finding the property was an interesting excursion - easy enough in hindsight, but not sure what to expect on our way there. Carbost has a great little pub and store and the locals were oh so friendly. I’d love to return here - a very relaxing holiday. July 2011.
nd comment: The house is simply beautiful and in the most amazing setting. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the living-room area incredibly pleasant and comfortable, with a big television to watch films on a rainy afternoon. We really couldn’t have asked for more. May 2011.
rd comment: Great if you want a remote location. All mod cons make it a home from home. Free mussels at the local beach! April 2011.
th comment: Having been on regular family holidays over the years, it’s fair to say that Seascape blew every other place we’ve stayed right out of the water. The location is stunning, the house is beautiful, the welcome we got was second-to-none and every one of us felt completely and utterly at home there. We’ve never yet gone back to the same cottage twice, but we’re in the middle of arranging a weekend in the summer to go back again...that’s how much we loved it! March 2011.
th comment: A lovely house with beautiful views. A week wasn’t long enough. Sept 2010.
th comment: Excellent views, very clean, good showers. Aug 2010.
th comment: Very well appointed. Views are fantastic. July 2010.
th comment: Wonderful Views. May 2010.
