st comment: Heatherlea is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful location. We have visited twice and have looked forward to coming back for the past two years. Its tranquil location and and lovely layout make it ideal for those who truly love the islands of Scotland and want to visit with their family. July 2011.
nd comment: This is a nice place to stay, comfortable though might get warm inside on sunny days. Nobody around so you can enjoy your privacy (although there are some locals (cows!) to are hanging around, very nice. Area is very pretty, enjoyed the boat trip and the hiking. July 2011.
rd comment: A beautiful house hidden away from the road for total privacy and comfort. Very well equipped. Walk to Elgol for amazing views of the Cuillins across Loch Scavaig. Elgol shop (tiny) can be reached by walking along the rocky ridge to the footpath. March 2011.

th comment: Very quiet. Easy to heat. Great view over fields. Lots of wildlife. June 2010.
th comment: The house was warm and bright, upstairs had windows on all four sides and yet it was completely private no other house in sight. We appreciated not having to pay extra for electricity or bring our own linen. Also due to its remoteness it was a real lifesaver to have a phone available that we could use .Everything worked and it was a well thought out and designed property. Good value for money.A good size fridge/freezer. April 2010.
th comment: A remarkable and unique property, very comfortable and warm at an early Easter break. A good standard of accommodation and facilities. The washing machine and dishwasher much appreciated. A most enjoyable break. March 2010.
th Comment An excellent cottage, which we felt was under rated by your grading system. June 2009.
th Comment We felt that Heatherlea was like finding treasure... particularly after such a long journey! It was both unique and met our every need - it looked brand new. When we felt like relaxing, all we had to do was sit and look out of the large windows at the panorama and we occasionally caught glimpses of the local deer and birds. We were cosy and warm when we watched the odd storm or two blow across. When venturing out we took in breathtaking views of the Cuillins, plenty of photos and made the most of the autumn colours and Skye weather! This was an amazing holiday made so by the magic of Skye and the gem of this unique and beautiful home. We hope to return next year. Oct 2008.
