Fingask Castle
Relatively ancient seat once held by the Bruces and now a wedding venue. Also has self-catering properties on the estate.
The castle is dated to around 1592 but includes some 12th century structure as well. In the 19th century further changes were made and parkland created with topiary. Fingask's topiary is extensive and, it must be said, somewhat eccentric. The castle is a private home but also hosts weddings and an annual musical event called Fingask Follies.
The gardens are not open generally, but there are open days as far as we know.
