Customer Reviews of Stonefield Farm Cottage,Glen Massan, sleeps 4
st comment: Although not far from the town of Dunoon, the property is situated 4 miles along a single track road. This gives you the feeling of isolation without being too far from amenities. The cottage was nice and cosy with plenty of space for the 2 of us and our 3 dogs. Although it has 2 double beds and a single, 5 people might feel a little cramped. Brilliant views and walks locally. Note that it is a working sheep farm so you do have to be careful with your dogs. Thea, the owner was very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. A word of caution on the Gourock to Dunoon ferry. Its more expensive to buy your ticket on the boat, so try and obtain them before sailing. March 2012.
nd comment: Ideal location for walking, fishing and general relaxation with dogs. Aug 2011.
rd comment: We were very grateful and delighted that the owner of the farm cottage agreed to let us bring 4 dogs. With the dogs being well exercised in this lovely part of Scotland we were able to fit them into 2 large cages when indoors so they were not loose in the house. Nov 2010.

th Comment Accommodation was very clean and the cottage very warm and comfortable. This property is excellent for those looking for peace and quiet in a rural setting. The view down the glen is a really nice to wake up to every morning. May 2008.
th Comment A fantastic location, beautiful scenery and plenty of outdoor activities. We enjoyed walking locally and watching the deer that arrived every night around the same time to graze in the fields beside the cottage. Tons of wildlife spotting to do with Kestrels and buzzards, and even managed to spot the elusive red squirrel at one point! Fishing off the local piers was great and made even more special by the arrival of a seal who seemed almost as interested in us as we were in it. All in all a fantastic holiday where we were welcomed by the owner and made to feel right at home. We will definitely be visiting again!! Our 8 year old son thoroughly enjoyed it and we would be more than happy to recommend a stay at this cottage. Aug 2008.
