Customer Reviews of Beachfront Lodge, Tarbert , sleeps 4
st comment: Location of this cottage is stunning. Very peaceful and private, rabbits galore to keep our dog happy and wildlife galore to keep us happy! Would stay again tomorrow if possible! April 2012.
nd comment: This lodge is everything we wished for. Situated in its own private field, the dogs were able to play off lead for the 1st time. The beach is exactly as described in the description and the wildlife is a pleasure to watch. We have visited the Lodge twice and have already booked for next year. I cannot recommend it enough if you are looking for a peaceful, private holiday where you can relax and listen to the waves and sea birds. We have found our perfect retreat. July 2011.
rd comment: Fantastic location, peaceful but easily accessible. Wildlife on the doorstep and so many places around and about to enjoy. May 2011.
th comment: Fabulous location, accommodation has everything you could wish for including a dish washer and washing machine. Lovely part of the country, completely unspoiled, easy to visit surrounding islands. Would highly recommend this special place! April 2011.

th comment: We loved the huge enclosed field which gave total freedom for our dogs. Wont be the same with more lodges. May 2010.
th comment: The accommodation suited our needs perfectly, the open plan layout of the living room, dining room and kitchen were especially good, with a fabulous view from the panoramic windows over looking the beach and sea. Also being reasonably isolated with good access to main road. May 2010.
th comment: A degree of isolation, a beach & a field for my dog to run around. I was well pleased with this place! Mar 2010.
th comment: Location, isolation, view, wildlife, equipment, space. Oct 2009.
th comment: A whole field to ourselves. The dogs loved chasing rabbits. Privacy and seclusion yet close to all you will need. Lovely new, clean and working appliances and comfortable furnishings. We saw so much wildlife from the property and the most stunning sunsets. if in doubt, don’t be. This is very special. Sept 2009.
th Comment The description on the web site did not do this property justice as it is impossible to describe how good the property and its location really are. The views from the property, the wildlife, the seals on the rocks offshore are unbelievable in this beautiful part of Scotland. This is the perfect location for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday with enough attractions and places to go sightseeing. This holiday should be prescribed on the NHS to people suffering from stress because it is so relaxing. June 2009.
th Comment We will certainly visit this lodge next year. The amount of wildlife seen was fantastic. Whales breaching out at sea, seals sunbathing on rocks offshore, a golden eagle sitting upon the fence post at the top of our field... and best till last, 10pm one night as the sun was setting over the Isle of Gigha we saw a sea otter running down the beach to the sea... diving for food then lying on his back in the surf to eat whatever he had caught. Truly wonderful. May 2009.
th Comment The size of the enclosed field was a joy. The dogs loved it and we tried to rebook for a further week immediately because of that alone. Unfortunately property was fully booked. Accommodation was excellent, a real home from home. Brilliant. April 2009.
th Comment Access to beach excellent, fantastic open space around lodge. Very comfortable and warm on cold evenings. Oct 2008.
th Comment Ideal for getting away from it all, but still within easy access of facilities. Dec 2008.
th Comment Delightful location - saw otters right on our doorstep! Aug 2008.
th Comment The property was even better than the photos and description indicated. The standard of the property was excellent and the location was superb. May 2008.
th Comment Although this property is fairly remote, the view was outstanding - seals, wading birds even an otter on your doorstep. Whichever window you looked out of had a wonderful view. June 2008.
th Comment Fantastic cabin, all on its own which was lovely and peaceful. Plenty of wildlife to see (Heron everyday, seals etc etc). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing peaceful holiday. Aug 2008.
