There is free trout fishing, a variety of wildlife, and tracks for leisurely walks and biking. Take a boat trip on Loch Ness, or watch the activity on the Caledonian Canal in picturesque Fort Augustus. This is a superb base for touring the Isle of Skye, Fort William and Inverness.
